Luxemburg-Casco Baseball Senior Day: Dylan Dahlke

Shout out to the clean up hitter who was a consistent force in the middle of our lineup last season, #19 Pitcher/First Basemen Dylan Dahlke! Dylan, who is a young man of many nicknames to his fellow teammates and friends, has been participating in the game as a young buck since age 5. Along with many clutch at-bats and hits in his Jr season, one of Dahlke’s fondest memories was a walk-off he had to send the team to sectionals two years ago in his sophomore season. Dylan credits his love and passion for the game to his father Todd who has been there to support and teach him the game his whole life growing up. His father is who he looks up to and admires the most for the support he’s given him all these years, and in the future years as Dylan starts to create his own path. Dahlke plans on attending UW-Green Bay in the fall and enrolling in their Business Administration program. With this he is interested in learning more about the real estate business and says he could one day see himself dealing with real estate brokerage. When he isn’t playing baseball, Dylan likes to trade his bat in for a club and hit the links for a round of golf. Dylan is poised for great things and as a strong silent type was going to be one of our captains this season, and we were so excited to see him lead with his understanding, compassion for his teammates, and his love for the game. One thing that as a coach stood out to me about Dylan was his selflessness in a game last summer where we were short players and he volunteered to move positions to help the lineup be more flexible. He is selfless and can see the big picture at a young age. We’re proud of you Dahlke and excited for your future endeavors, best of luck to you and Congratulations 19!
