Storm football looks to ground Rockets on U-102.1

The Kewaunee football team hopes to extend their season another week when they welcome Cedar Grove-Belgium to Don Rabas Field Friday night for Level 2 playoff action on U-102.1.

The Storm rolled past Loyal/Greenwood 40-7 in the opening round of the WIAA football playoffs to extend its winning streak to six games last Friday night. Diesel Bosdeck struggled to protect the football through the air with three interceptions, but he was able to throw for one touchdown and rush for another in the route. Blake Temme, Drew Vaughn, and Dane Harrell also found the end zone on the ground while Mason Delebreau scored through the air on 62 yards receiving. The Storm defense was able to force four turnovers and register a touchdown on special teams courtesy of a 55-yard return by Brody Elliott.
