Storm football look to sink Marines on the road

The Kewaunee football team continues its march through the Packerland Conference on Thursday when they travel to Marinette to face the Marines.

 

The Storm demolished Peshtigo on its homecoming night, 51-14, to improve to 5-2 on the season. Diesel Bosdeck was an efficient 12-for-17 for 136 yards and two touchdowns through the air while adding 26 yards and a score on the ground. Homecoming king Blake Temme rattled off two touchdowns on 47 yards rushing, while Dane Harrell registered a touchdown through the air and on the ground. Gregorio Medina and Mason Delebreau forced turnovers, while Landon LaTour had a sack and three tackles for a loss.

 

The Marines broke a four-game losing streak with a 27-6 win at Oconto Falls last week. They piled up 354 yards on the ground, with Conner Herring and Kanon Maye each eclipsing 160 yards rushing and two touchdowns apiece.

 

Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
