The Kewaunee Storm football season got off to a rough start on Friday night, falling to Fox Valley Lutheran on the road 42-0.
The Storm defense had no answers for Braden Heiges, who was responsible for five of the Foxes' six touchdowns in the rout (C/A 13/19 YDS 226 TDS 3, RUS 90 TDS 2).
Diesel Bosdeck commanded the offense the best he could in his new role, throwing for 128 yards and rushing for another 28 in the loss. Mason Kovacs collected three balls for 38 yards in the loss.
The Storm will try to right the ship on Friday when they welcome Luxemburg-Casco at 7 p.m. Eric Fischer will have the call on 104.1 WRLU beginning at 6:45 p.m. with the pregame show followed by the kickoff at 7 p.m.
