The Kewaunee Storm will look to make a return trip to the WIAA State Tournament after Division 3 sectional action on Tuesday in Crivitz, as they play the Brillion Lions in the semi-final game at 1 p.m.
The Storm (27-0), last year's state runner-up, is coming off a 10-0 no-hit shutout in five innings in the Regional final against the Crivitz Wolverines last Wednesday.
Brett Paulsen pitched his fifth no-hitter of the season and Connor Kilgore went 3/3 and walked off the game in the bottom of the fifth inning with a bases-loaded walk.
Brillion (23-4) finished second in the Eastern Wisconsin Conference with a 12-2 record and is coming off a 7-4 regional final win over the Bonduel Bears last Wednesday. Previously, the Bears defeated Algoma 9-1 in the regional semi-final.
Pregame for the first game will begin at 12:45 p.m. on Tuesday with the first pitch set for 1 p.m. on 104.1 WRLU and streamed on New Radio Sports Network. Paul Schmitt will bring you the play-by-play. If Kewaunee wins, the Storm will battle the winner of Stratford and Marathon for the sectional championship at 4:00 p.m.
