After Kewaunee's Evan Maccaux earned player of the year honors for golf, baseball's Brett Paulsen and softball's Breanna Riha could not let him be alone in earning the Packerland Conference's top award.
Both were named the Player of the Year in their respective sports when the Packerland Conference announced their All-Conference teams for baseball, softball, and soccer earlier this week.
Paulsen swept the Player of the Year honors, winning the defensive and overall awards. In addition to his appearance as a First Team Pitcher selection, Paulsen was joined on the All-Conference baseball team by Calvin Kolmorgen (First Team Catcher), Diesel Bosdeck (First Team Infielder), Connor Kilgore (First Team Outfielder), Blake Temme (Second Team Infielder), and Dane Harrell (Second Team Infielder).
Riha had to share her Player of the Year honor with Algoma's Natalie Ray, but she was named First Team Infielder. Vivian Bootz (First Team Outfielder), Ali Repitz (Second Team Pitcher), London Karnopp (Second Team Catcher), Kambriea Last (Second Team Infielder), and Mariah Schleis (Honorable Mention Outfielder) joined her on the All-Packerland Conference team.
Midfielder Elynor Heidel (Honorable Mention) was the lone All-Packerland selection from the soccer team.
