The Kewaunee Storm kept rolling Tuesday, knocking off Peshtigo 6-1 to stay unbeaten on the season at 26-0.
Kewaunee wasted no time, putting up four runs in the first inning on a two-RBI single from Connor Kilgore and a two-RBI double from Blake Temme.
That was all Jackson Walecka needed. The righty went five strong innings, striking out seven and allowing just one run. Waylon Delain shut the door with two scoreless frames in relief.
Delain and Diesel Bosdeck each had two hits, and the Storm swiped six bases on the day to keep the pressure on all game.
Next up, Kewaunee hosts Crivitz in the regional final on June 3rd. The Storm are the heavy favorites as the top seed and a perfect 26-0, but Crivitz comes in as the four-seed ready to compete.
