The Kewaunee Storm swept Sturgeon Bay in a doubleheader on Tuesday at Kewaunee High School, winning game one 12-2 before rolling in game two 13-3.
Connor Kilgore was the story in the opener, going 3-for-3 with four RBIs including a two-run homer to center in the fourth. Brett Paulsen dealt on the mound, striking out 10 over five innings while allowing just three hits and two runs. Diesel Bosdeck's three-run double in the second blew the game open, and the Storm never looked back. Kewaunee finished with 12 hits and five stolen bases without committing an error.
The Storm kept it rolling in game two, jumping on Sturgeon Bay early and never letting up in a 13-3 win. Waylon Delain earned the win on the mound, going four innings and striking out four. Kilgore and Delain each went 2-for-2 at the plate, while Noah Hudson and Landon LaTour each drove in three runs. Kewaunee drew 10 walks and stole four bases on the day.
The Storm host Bonduel on Friday at 4:30 p.m.
