The Kewaunee track and field team is traveling to Peshtigo this Thursday for an invitational meet. The Storm will be met there by Carney-Nadeau Public, Crivitz, Lena, Marinette, Menominee (MI), Menominee Indian, Oconto, Oconto Falls, and Suring.
The Storm last ran at the Oconto Falls Invitational, which saw the girls' team take home gold. They held a 20-point edge on their hosts with 121 points, with Hannah Miller (800m, 1600m, and triple jump), Alison Kuehl (100m hurdles), Natalie Miller (pole vault), and the 4x400m relay taking home wins. The boys were edged from the top of the podium in several events with second-place finishes from Joseph Schlies(800m), 4x800m relay, and Mitchell Boeder (shot put and discus).
The meet begins at 3:30 p.m.
