Kewaunee Clears out Algoma Behind Dominant Pitching and Big Bats

Kewaunee controlled both sides of the baseball doubleheader, sweeping Algoma with 14-0 and 6-0 wins.

 

In game one, Blake Temme powered the offense with four RBIs on two hits, while Brett Paulsen dominated on the mound with 11 strikeouts over four shutout innings. The Storm broke it open with a 10-run fourth, finishing with 11 hits and eight walks.

 

Game two featured another complete team effort, as Waylon Delain and Jackson Walecka combined on a three-hit shutout. Delain also led the offense with three hits, while Paulsen and Diesel Bosdeck each drove in two runs. A four-run sixth inning helped seal the 6-0 victory.

 

Kewaunee was sharp throughout, playing error-free defense across both games while outscoring Algoma 20-0 on the day.
