Kewaunee girls soccer couldn’t find a breakthrough Tuesday, falling 7-0 to Manitowoc Lutheran in a matchup where the Storm showed flashes but couldn’t keep pace.

The Lancers built control in the first half, scoring four times to take a 4-0 lead into the break. Kewaunee battled to generate chances and did manage shots on goal, but couldn’t solve the Lutheran keeper.

In the second half, Manitowoc Lutheran added three more goals to extend the lead. Despite the result, Kewaunee continued to push forward and avoided being completely shut down offensively, putting pressure on net and forcing five saves.

Kewaunee will look to regroup as they take on Green Bay NEW Lutheran Friday at 4:30.
