Paulsen's perfect game keeps Storm baseball undefeated

Brett Paulsen put an exclamation point on Kewaunee baseball's perfect weekend with a pitching performance that was perfect, too, in a 9-0 win over Escanaba.

The Storm put up two runs in each of the first three innings with Diesel Bosdeck's first-inning run-scoring single, Dane Harrell's two-run double in the second inning, and Paulsen's two-run single in the third the biggest blows. Harrell added a second two-run double in the fifth inning as part of a three-run frame.

Paulsen took it from there, adding onto his 19 strikeouts while allowing no runs or hits in the game. He helped his own cause as well, going 2-4 with two RBI. Harrell went 3-3 with four RBI while Bosdeck, Connor Kilgore, Calvin Kolmorgen, and Blake Temme also tallied hits.
