The Kewaunee track and field team is preparing for this Tuesday as they are traveling to UW-Stevens Point for an indoor meet. This meet was postponed from Thursday due to the weather.
The Storm will be met there by Rosholt, Spencer, Antigo, Mosinee, Suring, Pittsville, Loyal, Amherst, Athens, Auburndale, Bonduel, Coleman, Gillett, Manawa, Neillsville, Oconto Falls, Lourdes Academy, Three Lakes, Laona-Wabeno, Wild Rose, Tri-County, New London, Lakeland, Union, Marion, Merrill, Columbus Catholic Schools (WI), Iola-Scandinavia, Augusta Area, Whitehall, LaCrosse Logan, and Faith Christian Academy.
In their last meet, the Storm competed at the Manitowoc Lutheran invite. The top performers for the Storm were Noelie El Kout, taking 1st place in the 800-meter, and Kyanna Van Lauren, taking 7th in the two-mile. The 4x800 meter team that includes Noelie, Elynour Hiedl, Mia Ihlenfeldt, and Hannah Miller took 4th place. Hannah then took 2nd in the triple jump. For the boys, Blake Bortini took 5th for shot put and Seth Chevalier took 6th place for pole vaulting.
The meet begins at 4 p.m.
