Winter weather may be threatening the area this weekend, but the Kewaunee Storm boys basketball team remains red hot heading into a rematch against Bonduel in the sectional semifinals, which will be heard on WBDK.
The Storm took home the regional title Saturday, defending home court against St. Mary Catholic 71-60. Kewaunee was powered by a pair of 20-point performances, with Avery Jerabek scoring 21 and Diesel Bosdeck totaling 20.
Standing in their way are the Bonduel Bears. Bonduel has had an impressive season, going 23-3 thus far and looking to make a return trip to the Kohl Center after falling in the championship game last season. The Bears have won nine in a row since their last loss, an 81-77 defeat at the hands of Kewaunee on Feb. 2.
That game was in Kewaunee, but tonight’s contest will be on a neutral floor at Kaukauna High School. Eric Fischer will have the call on 96.7 WBDK, with the pregame show at 6:45 p.m. and tipoff at 7 p.m.
