The Vikings have won three of their last five games, including a 60-27 victory over Roncalli in their tournament opener on Tuesday. In that game, the VIkings' defense held the Jets to just 25 percent shooting from the field. They are led by Megan Hochkammer, who nearly averages a double-double a game with 16.7 ppg and 9.0 rpg. She also leads the team in assists with 3.8 apg.

Since Kewaunee's senior class lost to Valders in 2023 by 24 points, the Storm have won three of the last four meetings, including a split in tournament games. Last year, the Storm came back to beat the Vikings 49-46 to capture the regional title a year after losing to Valders in the tournament 41-40. Earlier this season, Kroll scored 18 points and Braelyn Chevalier added 16 points to spoil a double-double by Hochkammer (19 points, 11 rebounds)  and lead the Storm past the Vikings 56-48.
