The final week of the regular season kicks off with a rivalry renewed, as Kewaunee hosts Algoma tonight on 104.1 WRLU.
Kewaunee earned a top seed in the WIAA Division 3 playoffs, in an already historic season, and will be looking to sweep Algoma in the season series. The Storm are coming off a 79-42 win over Sturgeon Bay on Friday in which four players reached double figure scoring totals, led by Diesel Bosdeck's 25 points.
Algoma comes into Monday night's contest having won six in a row, including an 80-32 thrashing of Gibraltar last Friday. Braeden Leist led all scorers in the contest with 26 points, with Parker Lischka adding 19. Head coach Eric Schneider said after the game that his team will be ready for its battle against Kewaunee.
Eric Fischer will have the call, with the pregame show slated for 6:45 pm, or at the conclusion of the JV game, whichever occurs first. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 pm.
