Kewaunee looks to continue perfect season on 104.1 WRLU

After setting a school record with a 20th straight win on Saturday, the Kewaunee Storm will look to continue its hunt for perfection on Tuesday night, when it faces off against Southern Door on 104.1 WRLU.  

 

Kewaunee is coming off an 85-33 victory over Gibraltar. Leading the way was Conor Kilgore with 20 points, nine rebounds, four assists, five steals, and two blocks. Mason Kovacs added 15 points, along with a rebound, an assist, and two steals. Avery Jerabek chipped in 13 points, five rebounds, three assists, and a steal.

 

Southern Door’s last outing also came against Gibraltar, falling 52-51. Ryker Lohrey led the Eagles with 12 points, followed by Dawson Schwartz with 11. Lauden Berg and Talon Mueller contributed seven points apiece.

 

To continue the perfect season, Kewaunee will need take down Southern Door for a second time. The first time the two teams squared off, Kewaunee rolled to victory, to the tune of a 67-34 win. Dane Harrell led the way in that contest with 16 points. 

 

Eric Fischer will have the call from Kewaunee on 104.1 WRLU.  The Door County Medical Center pregame show is slated to kickoff at 6:45, or the conclusion of the JV game, whichever occurs first, with tipoff at 7:00pm.
