Two of Kewaunee's top athletes made it official on Wednesday where they will take their athletic journey next.
Kewaunee's Mitchell Boeder will continue his football career at Bemidji State. His senior football season ended with him becoming a two-time team captain, four-time varsity letter winner, two-time unanimous first-team defensive lineman, two-time first-team offensive lineman, two-time Packerland Offensive Lineman of the Year, two-time all-region offensive lineman and an All-State offensive lineman.
Boeder's quarterback that he blocked for is also going onto the next level, albeit in a different sport. Brett Paulsen signed his NLI to play baseball at UW-Parkside. A major piece of last year's state runner-up squad, Paulsen threw 51.2 innings, going 8-1 with an 0.68 ERA according to Prep Baseball, earning him All-Packerland and All-State honors.
