The Kewaunee girls wrestling trio of Mariah Behrmann, Arianna Niemojuski, and Aubrey Ducat got to compare gold medals on their way home from Rosendale on Friday after winning their respective weight classes at the Laconia Girls Invite.
None of the girls went the full six minutes in any of their 11 wins as the registered nine pins and a pair of technical falls. Behrmann never went a full period at 114 pounds, which included a pin just before the end of the first period in her championship match against Laconia's Savannah Britton. In total, eight of Kewaunee's nine pins came in the first period.
