The Kewaunee boys’ wrestling team is preparing for this Saturday as they are traveling to Deerfield for an invitational tournament. The Storm will be met there by Brodhead, DeSoto, Jefferson, Kenosha Christian Life, Lake Mills, Madison La Follette, Martin Luther, Milwaukee Bradley Technical, Monona Grove, Omro, Poynette, Random Lake, Stoughton, Sun Prairie East, Waterloo, and Waukesha South. 

The Storm's last outing saw them go 3-0 in a quad, beating Oconto 36-15, Gillett/Suring 40-14, and Peshtigo 41-30.  Many of their duals were kept afloat by forfeits, but Sam Kraynik (106), Mason VanGoethem (150), and Mitchell Boeder (285) all won multiple contested matches on the evening.

Wrestling kicks off at 9:30 a.m.
