The Kewaunee wrestling team will hit the road Saturday for an invitational at Sheboygan North High School.

 

The Storm will compete against Kenosha St. Joseph, Shoreland Lutheran, West De Pere, Valders, Little Chute, Cedarburg, Seymour, Brillion, Campbellsport, Coleman, De Pere, Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah, Kiel, Mishicot, New Holstein, Oconto Falls, Oostburg, Ozaukee, Random Lake, Sheboygan Falls, Sheboygan South, Xavier, Weyauwega-Fremont, Denmark, Waupun and Shawano Community.

 

Kewaunee is coming off a strong performance in a home quad on Monday, winning all three duals. The Storm defeated Marinette 41-36, Manitowoc Lutheran 66-6 and Sturgeon Bay 46-28.

 

Sam Kraynik (106), Mason VanGoethem (160), Trevor Gauthier (157), Tucker Du Fresne (165) and Mitchell Boeder (285) all went undefeated. Gregorio Medina (215), Evan Romero (175), Anakin Reimer (144), Tristan Kjelgaard (126) and Nolan Lambrecht (120) each posted multiple wins.
