Kewaunee was hosted by Sturgeon Bay Friday and turned an early lead into a convincing victory 74-18.
The Storm continue a strong start to the season at 9-2 they are looking to push for a conference title and beyond as they are led by senior Jade Kroll one of the area's top scorers on the girls side of the ball.
Kroll got started early with a big three-pointer that gave them a 5-0 lead, part of a 10-2 start for Kewaunee. They also brought full-court ball pressure that led to turnovers from the Clippers and fast break points, growing the lead for the Storm.
Kewaunee has won eight straight since losing to Notre Dame December 9. The Storm face Algoma January 13 at 7 p.m. while Sturgeon Bay (3-9) will be traveling to Green Bay for a date with NEW Lutheran.
