Storm football facing Marines

The Kewaunee football team is hosting Marinette this Friday.

The Marines are coming off a 51-30 victory over Mishicot.

The Storm saw some pretty notable performances last Friday in their 49-8 victory over Peshtigo. Brett Paulsen had 250 total yards, threw for 4 touchdowns, and ran 2 in himself. Diesel Bosdeck had 98 rushing yards with a touchdown on only 3 attempts, one of those being a 90-yard rushing touchdown. Connor Kilgore had 79 receiving yards and 2 touchdowns on 6 receptions. The Storm’s offensive line also showed out, not allowing a single sack and serving 15 pancakes. Leading the way for the defense was Bryce Tulachka, who had 10 total tackles, 4 of which were for loss and half a sack.

In a recent interview with Kewaunee head coach Randy Charles, he said he is prepared to face a strong Marinette offense and defensive line. Their current focus is on the present, and they have been working to set themselves up for success, looking into the playoffs.

The kick-off is at 7:00 pm.
