Kewaunee senior Hannah Miller capped off her impressive season with an individual conference championship, leading the Storm to the Packerland Conference girls cross country team title.
Miller crossed the line first in 19:03.8, finishing more than 30 seconds ahead of the next runner and setting the tone for Kewaunee’s dominant performance. The Storm placed five runners inside the top 15 to score 44 points and take home the team crown.
Southern Door finished second with 55 points, followed by Peshtigo (74), Sturgeon Bay (110), Oconto (129), Sevastopol (136), and Algoma (167).
Peshtigo freshman Berkeley Chaltry (19:39.4) and Southern Door freshman Malaina Veeser (19:45.7) rounded out the top three. Kewaunee’s depth proved key once again, with strong finishes from Noelie El Kout (8th, 20:43.6), Natalie Miller (10th, 20:54.2), Kaylyn Martin (11th, 21:07.6), Alison Szydel (14th, 22:04.1), and Karla Swagel (15th, 22:24.9).
