Kewaunee volleyball suits up against Mishicot

The Kewaunee volleyball team will be the lone local squad playing Monday night when they travel to Mishicot to take on the Indians.

The Storm outlasted the Pioneers last Thursday for a 3-2 victory (11-25, 25-15, 24-26, 25-15, 15-13). The Storm's defense and performance at the service line were key to the win. According to MaxPreps, their 13 aces were the most aces they've posted since October 2024.  Braelyn Chevalier had a season-high 18 digs and four aces, and Gabby Stangel had 21 digs.

The Indians come into the match 7-18 on the season and are trying to break a three-match losing streak. Take tournament play out of the equation, and the Indians are looking for their first win since a three-game sweep of Hilbert on September 18th.

The first serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.
