Kewaunee looking for homecoming win on 104.1 WRLU

The Kewaunee Storm will be looking to remain undefeated in Packerland Conference play when it hosts Sturgeon Bay for its homecoming game on 104.1 WRLU.

Kewaunee has won four straight, including a 58-30 beatdown of Mishicot last Friday.  Brett Paulsen threw for 294 yards and four touchdowns, adding 89 rushing yards and a score.  Waylon Delain also rushed for 183 yards and three touchdowns in the victory.

In a recent interview with Kewaunee head coach Randy Charles, he talked about how Homecoming week is a chance to honor past generations and recognize alumni, specifically celebrating the 15th anniversary of the 2010 state championship team and the 40th anniversary of the class of 1985. Randy Charles also emphasized the importance of staying focused on their jobs despite Homecoming distractions.

Across the sideline, the Sturgeon Bay Clippers will look to play spoiler in the festivities. Sturgeon Bay has struggled this season, coming in with a 0-5 record and having lost last week to Oconto by a score of 36-0.

Eric Fischer will cover the game on 104.1 WRLU and the NEW Radio Sports Network, with a pregame show at 6:45 and kickoff at 7 p.m.
