Storm Football Set to Defend Home Turf Against Mishicot

The Kewaunee Storm football team is set to defend its home turf this Friday in a pivotal matchup against the Mishicot Indians. Both teams enter the week with impressive 3-1 records. The Storm are eager to maintain the winning momentum they gained last week with a hard-fought 14-7 victory over Bonduel. The game saw a dominant performance from running back Brett Paulsen. Paulsen was instrumental in the Storm's offensive output, personally accounting for 12 of the team's 14 points with two powerful rushing touchdowns.

In a recent interview, Storm head coach Randy Charles shared his enthusiasm for the upcoming match-up, highlighting the opportunity to face another high-caliber opponent. Charles emphasized the importance of containing Mischicot’s run game and proactively preventing any explosive plays, which he believes will be crucial for securing victory. Beyond the physical aspects, Coach Charles expressed profound pride in his players' dedication and commitment to hard work. He particularly noted the significant improvement in player performance since last year, a development he says is something that a coach loves to see.
