The Kewaunee High School volleyball team is set to travel to Brillion for a Tuesday night showdown.
The Storm wants to maintain the momentum they built during their recent matchup against Algoma. Kewaunee showcased resilience and determination. Initially, the Wolves came out strong, winning the first two sets. However, Kewaunee mounted a stunning comeback, winning the final three sets to secure victory. Several Kewaunee players had great performances. Senior Jadelynn Kroll was a force at the net, recording an impressive 16 kills and two aces. Senior Braelyn Chevalier demonstrated her serving prowess with five aces. On defense, sophomore Ali Obry tallied three total blocks, two of which were solo efforts. The Wolves also had some notable players, including Sophomore Mackenzie Lischka, who recorded five aces. Also, Senior Theresa Gerdmann dominated defense, having 10 total blocks, six of which she got alone. First serve is set for 7 p.m.
Other matches scheduled for Tuesday include Gibraltar traveling to Providence Academy (6 p.m.), Sevastopol hosting a triangular meet with Kohler and Roncalli 5 p.m.), and Luxemburg-Casco visiting Denmark (7 p.m.).
