Kewaunee’s Hannah Miller crushed the girls’ Division 3 race Friday night, cruising to a first-place finish in 18:30.46 at the Nightfall Classic 920. Her PR performance led the Storm to a second-place team finish with 74 points, behind only Lourdes Academy (61).
Sevastopol placed seventh overall with 183 points, led by freshman Breiah Newton’s PR time of 21:07.09 for ninth place. Algoma and Gibraltar also had strong representation, with Claire Gerdman of Algoma (23:34.06 PR) and Emilie Glocke of Gibraltar (26:52.55) topping their teams.
On the boys’ side, Aaron Tomaszewski of Sevastopol clocked 17:59.63 to place sixth overall in Division 3, continuing his strong fall season. Kewaunee finished 13th out of 16 teams with 317 points, led by sophomore Gage Vlies (19:38.84 PR, 44th place).
In Division 2, Sturgeon Bay freshman Atticus Haus was the top Clipper finisher, placing 82nd in 19:37.29 (PR). For the Sturgeon Bay girls, sophomore Delaney Skiba shined with a PR of 20:20.85 for eighth place overall, helping the Clippers place 16th as a team.
