Storm softball blows past Wolverines

The Kewaunee softball team scored at least two runs in each of the final four innings played en route to a six-inning, 11-1 win over Crivitz on Thursday.

 

The game was tied at 1-1 before the Storm rattled off three consecutive innings with two runs scored, with extra base hits from Ali Repitz and Breanna Riha delivering the biggest blows. The Storm put the game on ice in the sixth inning as they took advantage of two Wolverines errors and base hits from Mariah Schlies and Summer Walechka. 

 

Schlies and Riha each tallied three hits while Vivian Bootz and Kambreia Last each had two hits. Bootz and Riha paced the Storm with three RBI. Repitz went the distance for the Storm, allowing one run (1 ER) on six hits while striking out six.
