The Luxemburg-Casco soccer team went 1-1-1 over the weekend at its tournament in Oostburg.

 

Sheboygan Falls' Lilian Reinl registered the lone goal in the 27th minute in a 1-0 loss for the Spartans. Goalkeeper Ashley Fameree did what she could to keep the team in it as she made 10 saves in the game compared to the one her positional counterpart made for the Falcons.

 

In game two, Emi Kuhn scored an unassisted tally in the 22nd minute while Maggie Pravechek (37') and Aaliyah Wallace (43') helped each other out with their goals in a 3-0 victory over Sheboygan South. While the Spartans peppered the opposition with another 11 shots on net, Teagan Gunderson escaped the game with four saves. 

 

In the finale, the Spartans played to a scoreless draw with host Oostburg. Ashley Fameree posted a clean sheet with eight saves.

 

The Spartans play Tuesday night at home against Clintonville.
