One inning said it all for the Kewaunee softball team on Saturday, giving up all the runs of its 14-1 loss to Seymour in one frame.
The Storm led after one inning when Baleigh Saxby doubled in Breanna Riha to make 1-0. It would stay that way until the fatal fouth inning when the Storm walked the first four batters before being cleared off by a triple. From that point, the Storm would go on to give up five more hits, walk another four batters, and commit two errors. Ali Repitz took the brunt of that damage from the circle, allowing 10 runs (3 ER) on six hits in 2 1/3 innings. Riha, Saxby, and Kambreia Last posted the only hits on the afternoon for the Storm.
