The Kewaunee baseball team hung crooked numbers in each of the first five innings to win Monday's game 19-0 over NEW Lutheran.
The game's death knell came in the second inning when the Storm plated eight runs, highlighted by a bases-clearing triple by Brett Paulsen and a run-scoring single from Alec Carlson. The Storm pounded out 14 hits while taking advantage of five Blazers errors. The lone bright spot for the Blazers was a Hayden Schultz single in the fifth inning off of Waylon Delain. Jackson Walecka and Delain combined to allow no runs on one hit while striking out 13 of the 16 batters they faced.
The Storm are back in action on Tuesday when they play Sevastopol at 5 p.m.
