Storm baseball hold off Gogebic

The Kewaunee Storm baseball team scored two runs in three consecutive innings, leaving Mauston with a 7-5 victory.

Down 1-0 after one inning, productive outs brought in the first runs of the game for the Storm in the second inning. In the third inning, Brett Paulsen's bases-loaded walk and a wild pitch scored the subsequent two runs for the Storm to make it. The Storm lost the lead in the fourth inning when Gogebic logged three singles and took advantage of an error to make it 5-4. More productive outs helped the Storm retake the lead in the bottom of the fourth inning. Another wild pitch would bring home the Storm's final run of the afternoon.

Connor Kilgore, Ethan Paplham, and Brady Pribek all had two hits in the game for the Storm while Diesel Bosdeck, Paulsen, Wyatt Delain, and Alec Carlson registered RBI. Pribek and Bosdeck combined to strike out 10 batters in the game.
