Kewaunee battles familiar foe in Oconto on 104.1 WRLU

The Kewaunee Storm will hit the road, but keep things within the Packerland Conference when they play at Oconto Friday night in its regional semifinal game.

The #5 Storm cruised to a 78-50 home win over the #12 Sevastopol Pioneers on Tuesday as they frustrated the Pioneers' offense defensively, forcing them into numerous turnovers all evening long. Using an inside-out offense, the Storm kept Sevastopol's defense off-balanced most of the night. The Storm was led by Avery Jerabek, who scored 24 points, 14 of which came in the second half. Dane Harrell, who had a huge game on the boards and defensively, added 15 points, while Cooper Kolmorgen chipped in 10 points off the bench for Kewaunee.

The two teams split their matchups during the regular season, with each team winning the road matchup. Dane Harrell's 19 points led the Storm past the Blue Devils 79-61 on December 21s,t while its second-half comeback came up just short on February 11th, losing the game 57-54.
