Kewaunee softball sinks Vikings twice

The Kewaunee softball team did not need a full seven innings in either end of their doubleheader against Gibraltar, winning the games 15-0 and 20-1.

A nine-run second inning set the tone for the Storm in game one. Four players got multiple hits, and Breanna Riha drove in four runs. Pam Prescott, Courtney Foy, and Megan Gallant each collected one hit for the Vikings.

In game two, it was a 10-run second inning that set the tone for the Storm. Riha had another three RBI while Jenna Rohr drove in five runs. All nine players for the Storm drove in at least one run against the Vikings. Ashlyn DeJardin drew a bases-loaded walk to tie the game for the Vikings in the first inning and provided the team's only run. Emma Daubner registered the team's only hit in game two.
