The Kewaunee Storm softball team scored twice in the bottom of the sixth inning on Tuesday to defeat the Wrightstown Tigers 6-4.
The two teams traded two-run rallies, with the Storm scoring twice in the first and third innings and the Tigers doing the same in the third and fourth frames. A go-ahead homer by Baleigh Saxby and a sacrifice bunt by Maddy Reckelberg proved to be the difference in the end. Saxby's dinger capped off a 2-for-3 day with three RBI. Braelyn Chevalier also had two hits while Jenna Rohr and Breanna Riha each knocked in a run in the Storm's victory. Rohr went the distance on the mound, striking out 13 while allowing four runs (3 ER). Briley Durocher led the Tigers offensively with a pair of hits and RBI in her statline.
