Storm girls use big half to sink Clippers

The Kewaunee Storm outscored the Sturgeon Bay Clippers 32-7 in the first half and never looked back in its 54-22 romp in girls' basketball on Thursday.

Brianna Demmin led the assault early, scoring nine of her 15 points in the first half, with Jade Kroll matching that output in the second half en route to a team-high 16 points. Nine of the eleven Storm players scored at least one point in the win.

Clippers head coach Dan Tjernagel was happy with his team's resilience and effort in the second half.  Dasha Yeltysheva scored eight of her team-high 12 points after the break, while Regan Kasten chipped in five of her seven points in the second half.
