Storm boys, Blazers meet for Packerland tilt

The Kewaunee Storm looks to keep momentum when it hosts conference rival NEW Lutheran for a 7:30 p.m. tip.

A strong performance from Thomas Stangel, helped the Storm defeat Luxemburg-Casco, 80-70, on Tuesday. Stangel scored 26 points to lead the way for the Storm. Stangel, Avery Jerabek, and Christopher Cullen each hit multiple three-pointers for the Storm as they went 8-24 (33%) from beyond the arc. Other contributors were Braxton Riha (16 points), Connor Kilgore (15 points), Jerabek (14 points), and Cullen (9 points).

The Blazers are 2-1 on the year after beating Gibraltar 61-51 in their last game. A buzzer-beating three gave the Blazers the lead at the half and the momentum to get past the Vikings, also thanks partly to Sam Hillman's 22 points.

Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m.
