Kewaunee looks to advance against Cedar Grove-Belgium on 104.1 WRLU

The Kewaunee Storm looks to continue their run through the WIAA Playoffs with a match-up against Cedar Grove-Belgium on Friday night.

The Storm clinched their spot to Level 2 with a dominating 42-0 win over Oconto last week. Packerland Offensive Player of the Year Owen Carlson only needed 11 rushing attempts to do his damage, sprinting his way to 123 yards and two scores. Thomas Stangel had two total touchdowns, and Demardo Echols also found his way into the endzone to secure Kewaunee's 21st win in their last 23 games.

The Rockets earned their place in the game with a 28-13 win over Waterloo last Friday. After losing two conference games to start the month of September, the Rockets have rattled off six straight wins. The Rockets counter the Storm's rushing attack with Will Navis, who ran for 195 yards on 31 carries and two touchdowns in last week's win.

Henry Annen and Reece Robillard will have the call on 104.1 WRLU and NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com beginning at 6:45 p.m. with the pregame show followed by the opening kickoff at 7 p.m.
