Cullen, Miller lead local runners at De Pere Invitational

Several local teams participated in one of the biggest meets to kick off the season on the campus of UW-Green Bay for the De Pere Invitational with Kewaunee boast two of the best runners on the day.

 

Over 200 kids participated in each of the two varsity races with Kewaunee runners finishing ahead of its local competitors. Sophomore Hannah Miller broke 20 minutes for a personal record of 19:58 to take fourth overall. Senior Christopher Cullen also set a personal record on the 5K course, running a time of 17:16 for a top 20 performance.
