Kewaunee baseball looks to clinch outright title Friday

The Kewaunee Storm will look to keep rolling as they take on the Peshtigo Bulldogs for a doubleheader on Friday.

Although a loss to Bay Port may have slowed some momentum, the Storm still have the taste of the biggest win of the season for them still lingering as they swept Southern Door 4-3 and 10-6 on Tuesday. Kewaunee will need to win just one of the two game doubleheader  on Friday to clinch the outright Packerland Conference title.

Peshtigo will look to play spoiler for the Storm, and help out the Eagles who will need Kewaunee to lose both games to get a share of the title. Peshtigo has struggled so far this season after the departure of now Sturgeon Bay Head Coach Neal Henrigillis, as the Bulldogs are 4-12 overall and 4-10 in the Packerland Conference.

First pitch from Kewaunee is slated for 5:00 p.m.
