Storm baseball hosts doubleheader against Pioneers

The Kewaunee Storm baseball team will look to stay undefeated in Packerland Conference play, while their opponent, the Sevastopol Pioneers, look to grab their first win on Friday.

The Storm recently took down the NEW Lutheran/Providence Academy Blazers in the first game of their doubleheader, and had their second game delayed due to darkness, with the Storm leading the way at 6-0. Kewaunee enters the doubleheader at a 8-2 record, and sits third in the Packerland Conference.

Sevastopol led the Sturgeon Bay Clippers through three innings in the opening game of the two game doubleheader by a score of 2-1, but Sturgeon Bay scored 10 in the fourth to blow the game wide open. The Pioneers are 0-9 on the season, and have been outscored by 73 runs in their eight Packerland Conference games.

First pitch from Kewaunee for game one is set for 4:00 p.m.
