Kewaunee baseball heads to Manitowoc Lincoln

After taking care of their business in the doubleheader with Sturgeon Bay on Tuesday night, the Kewaunee Storm baseball team will be in action against Manitowoc Lincoln on Thursday, weather permitting.

After finishing off Sturgeon Bay by a combined score of 28-0 in the two games played on Tuesday, Kewaunee will look to keep their momentum, and their patient at-bats, rolling against a high quality opponent. The top of the batting order for Kewaunee proved to be a critical part of the doubleheader, making the statements needed, including a 3-Run Home Run from Owen Carlson in the first game.

Manitowoc Lincoln has started their season 7-0 so far, and have gone 5-0 in the Fox River Classic Conference early in the year. The Ships were a strong team last season, being one of the three teams to knock off the Eagles of Southern Door last year. In their FRCC games so far this year, the Ships have outscored their opponents 50-2.

First pitch from Municipal Field is set for 4:30 p.m.
