Storm softball plays visitors to Valders

The Kewaunee Storm softball team has had a great start to their season after their opening day blowout, as they ride a three game winning streak into their matchup with Valders Tuesday afternoon.

The Storm have scored an average of 13 runs per game during their three game winning streak, including 11 in a 11-1 win over Two Rivers on Friday afternoon. Jenna Rohr has been a huge part of the success for Kewaunee, throwing two one-hit games against the Clippers in their lone Packerland Conference series last week. Kewaunee will have one more non-conference game against Luxemburg-Casco before heading into Packerland play against Oconto.

For Valders, they have started their season 2-1 in their games played so far, including their most recent victory against Kiel 9-2. The Vikings scored 7 of their 9 runs in the game in the first two innings, and threw a shutdown game until the sixth inning.

First pitch is slated for 4:30 p.m.
