Kewaunee High School

Kewaunee to host meet Tuesday

The Kewaunee Storm Track and Field team will play host to the area’s first outdoor Track and Field meet this spring, as they will welcome in four other conference schools for the Kewaunee Five Meet.

The Boys team is coming off of a second place finish after tying with Marathon at 47 points, and falling just short of New London at the Rosholt Invite at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Mitchell Swagel (Pole Vault) was the lone second place finisher for the Storm, with Maddix Mueller (Pole Vault) and the 1600m Relay of Christopher Cullen, Isaac Schleis, Jordan Lamack, and Swagel.

The Girls team has been led by Hannah Miller in the indoor season, as she dominated the Pam Kjono Invite on March 24th. Miller finished first in the triple jump, second in the long jump and fourth in the 800 meter run. The team took seventh overall in the invite, and will compete again Tuesday afternoon.

Kewaunee will be welcoming in and competing against Green Bay NEW Lutheran, Peshtigo, Sevastopol and Sturgeon Bay.

First Event is set to begin at 4:15 P.M.
