Kewaunee High School

Storm girls host county rival Algoma

This game has been postponed due to Thursday's storm closing school.

Pending weather, the Kewaunee Storm girls basketball team will take on their county rival Algoma Wolves on Thursday night in a Packerland Conference matchup.

Kewaunee has been 2-1 in the past three conference games, upsetting Southern Door by two and rolling over Sturgeon Bay by 29. Kewaunee has gotten a big boost coming from Freshman Jadelynn Kroll, as she averages 16.5 points per game in her two games so far this season. The Storm got the best of the Wolves in both matchups last season, winning 61-31 and 60-13.

Algoma is coming off of a blowout loss to the Bonduel Bears on Monday, 61-17. Bonduel has given Sevastopol its only loss on the season so far, and the Bears have had the Packerland number so far this season. Sitting fourth in the Packerland currently, the Wolves are on pace to match or even better their production from last season.

Tip from Kewaunee is set for 7:30 P.M.
