Kewaunee boys make way to Valders

The Kewaunee Storm boys basketball team will keep things non-conference on Monday when they travel to Valders.

A one-point lead stayed that way for the Kiel Raiders as they outlasted the Kewaunee Storm boys' basketball team Thursday night 45-44. The lead was 21-20 for the Raiders at the break, and the two teams were knotted at 24 points apiece with their second-half scoring.  The Storm boasted three players scoring in double figures as Thomas Stangel led the team with 13 points while Jordan Lamack and Payton Kohnle.

The Vikings are 7-4 on the season and are winners of three of their last four games. They coasted during the second-half of their 81-60 win over New Holstein in their previous game last week.

Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
