Storm boys nipped by Raiders

A one-point lead stayed that way for the Kiel Raiders as they outlasted the Kewaunee Storm boys' basketball team Thursday night 45-44.

The lead was 21-20 for the Raiders at the break, and the two teams were knotted at 24 points apiece with their second-half scoring.

The Storm boasted three players scoring in double figures as Thomas Stangel led the team with 13 points while Jordan Lamack and Payton Kohnle. The key for the Raiders may have been controlling Cal Ihlenfeldt, who has posted impressive performances all season long but was held to just two points. Meanwhile, Pierce Arenz scored 17 points, and Braden Aprill added 14 points to lead the Raiders.
