If they can break through Mother Nature's defense, the Kewaunee girls' basketball team is slated to face the Bulldogs in Peshtigo on Thursday.

The Kewaunee Storm Girls hosted the Valders Vikings on Tuesday. The Vikings emerged victorious, with 60-35 being the final score. The Storm were led by Summer Walechka, who had 11 points. Senior forward Emily Todd had 8 points in the contest going 2-3 on 3-point field goals.

The Bulldogs have started the season 4-5 overall and 3-2 in the Packerland Conference. Behind a 21-point performance by Akira Smalls, the Bulldogs won their last matchup against Oconto Falls 65-43.

If it takes place, the game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
